We are so excited to introduce Chu-Fong "Gordon" Huang, DAOM, LAc, as the newest member of our Family Care Acupuncture and Health Center team! Gordon will be seeing patients every Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., specializing in the treatment of pain, musculoskeletal injuries, and chronic conditions.
Personally, I couldn’t be more thrilled to have him join us. Gordon is my absolute favorite acupuncturist—I’ve been seeing him for years at his other office, and I’m beyond excited that he will now be bringing his incredible skill and compassionate care to our clinic.

A Little About Gordon
Gordon was born and raised in Taiwan. His most profound experience with Chinese medicine occurred as a child recovering from a sports injury. The treatment’s effectiveness left a lasting impression and planted the seed for what would later become his life’s work. First, however, he studied pharmacy and worked as a pharmacist in a hospital in Taiwan.
During his time in the Western medical system, he was re-introduced to Chinese medicine, which sparked his curiosity and desire to learn more. This experience eventually took him to Beijing, where he completed eight years of medical training at some of the most prestigious institutions for both Chinese and Western medicine: Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, Peking Union Medical College Hospital, and Dongzhimen Hospital. He earned his Bachelor’s in Medicine and a Master’s in Clinical Medicine, specializing in Acupuncture, Moxibustion, and Tuina. After becoming a doctor in China, Gordon helped countless patients manage acute and chronic pain, musculoskeletal injuries, allergies, and fatigue.
Later, Gordon moved to the United States to continue his studies, earning a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) degree from Five Branches University in California. In 2021, he became a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), which includes acupuncture and Chinese herbology, and he is currently a Licensed Acupuncturist in Oregon.
Gordon’s approach to patient care is deeply holistic. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, he works to restore harmony and balance in the body while addressing the deeper connections between health, nature, and the body’s innate wisdom to heal.
Outside the Clinic
When Gordon isn’t treating patients, you’ll likely find him exploring Oregon’s beautiful hiking trails, indulging in his passion for woodworking, or spending quality time with his family.
We are so fortunate to have Gordon on our team, and we know you’ll love him as much as we do! If you’ve been struggling with pain or want to experience the healing power of acupuncture, schedule an appointment with Gordon on Tuesdays—he’s ready to help you feel your best.
Welcome to the Family Care Acupuncture community, Gordon!
